SLG2 Consulting provides proven retail sales training that Increases Sales to Women. Adopted from their sister company Shoot Like A Girl, this training consists of two delivery methods: in-person training and online training (available in 2020).
The in-person training is taught by women, who appreciate that in a retail environment where men are the typical customer, the retail sales associates have the best intentions, but their actions are perceived differently by women. The sales professionals rarely aware of the emotions of women shoppers and are typically great people with a genuine desire to serve all of their customers. These female instructors also enhance the training with personal stories to drive home the difference between how men and women shop.
The training begins with SLG2 Consulting conducting secret shopping in the store. This isn’t a “gotcha” moment, but as an opportunity to highlight the perceptions of women in a male dominated environment. The training team will share these results with management prior to presenting them to the retail sales team.
The Course is typically three hours and can be tailored to meet the needs of the store. The course is broken down into the following syllabus: The ROI of Women, Shopping Habits of Women, The Up Sale, The Helpful Loved Ones, and Boundaries. The workshop includes activities and roll playing opportunities.
At the end of the workshop, the retail associates will be more motivated to help meet the shopping expectations of their female customers.
